    Our Stay at Solea Palm Resort



    We stayed in the newest building, Solea Palm Resort, in a Premier Room with a Garden View. The room was spacious, and the massive leaf painting added to the island feel. Although the garden view faced a construction area, which made the balcony less appealing, the morning greenery and blue sky were relaxing.

    Dining Experience

    Breakfast was unremarkable, but the staff were nice and did their best. There is room for improvement in their food options.


    Resort Amenities

    The resort has many pools, including seven outdoor ones across the property. We enjoyed the pool near the wall water fountain, which offered shade and an infinity view that was great for photos.     At night, the larger pool was lit up, making night swimming even more fun. 


    For the Kiddos

    The kids loved the splash area. It wasn’t very big, but it was just the right size for them. The water buckets filling up and splashing water at them is always a hit. It’s easy to keep them entertained!

    Friends for Keeps!

    It’s great to hang out with my college friends again. Even though we all have kids now, our bond is still the same. It feels like we're just having lunch, waiting for school to start, sometimes missing a class, rushing to finish homework, quickly working on a project, or cramming for a quiz. All those fun and exciting times feel as fresh as if they happened yesterday. Thanks, guys, for staying in touch and spending time with me despite the busy life with kids.

    We had dinner at Parola in Cordova, famous for its seafood and beautiful lighthouse setting, about a 12-minute drive from Solea Waterpark. A friend drove us there since the streets can be dark and tricky if you're not familiar with the area. The food was fantastic, and the staff's gesture of singing “Happy Birthday” to our little one made the evening special.
