Day Use at Crimson Resort
Upon reaching the resort, proceed to the stairs leading to Azure Beach Club to register for the day-use package and get your wristband.
My brothers and a friend enjoyed a day-use visit, while my family checked in for an overnight stay.
Infinity Pool
The infinity pool was stunning, and I loved the tranquility. The resort is less expansive than Shangri-la Mactan, with fewer swimming pools than Plantation Bay and not as busy as Dusit Thani.
Dining in Azure Beach Club
During the day-use visit, the dining experience was different from the typical resort buffet style. Food and drinks were only available for purchase at the Azure Beach Club, just a few steps away from the infinity pool. Although I wasn't particularly pleased with our meal – despite ordering the platter with various dishes and spending a bit more – the atmosphere was refreshing and the staff were outstanding.
The Beach
Day-use guests also have access to the beach, featuring aesthetically pleasing cabana lounge chairs.
The beach, though slightly rocky, was clean and inviting.
The day use ends at 6 pm, allowing you to enjoy a quick night swim in the pool before taking a shower.
Missing Mama
My mum would have loved the resort's garden arrangement, especially with the beautiful botanical displays adorning every corner. Whenever I returned home to the Philippines, my family and I would visit a resort to unwind. This time, there is an empty seat at our table. Mama, you will always hold a special place in our hearts, never to be forgotten, until we meet again.
The Rooms at Crimson Resort and Spa Mactan
Searching for our room felt like navigating through a maze-like garden - I say that as we got lost a couple of times. Clear signs are definitely needed here. Despite that, I admire the lush greenery that envelops the resort. The building has two floors and no elevators, so it's advisable to seek assistance if you have heavy bags when checking in at the front desk.

I am amazed by the room's spaciousness and the modern bahay-kubo vibe, especially the cozy warm brown tones and lighting. Opening the balcony to the garden view brought back nostalgic memories, reminiscent of visiting my Lola's old Spanish-style house during my youth.
Peek-a-boo
I enjoyed the relaxing hot tub experience and appreciated the complimentary toiletries, bathrobe, and bidet toilet. Also, the restroom offers a unique feature with a large window that can be fully opened, allowing you to enjoy a hot tub experience with plenty of ventilation.
Lovely Surprise
Crimson was incredibly thoughtful to surprise us with a cake to celebrate our anniversary and our little one's birthday.

Breakfast in Crimson
At breakfast, you choose a main dish from the menu, then help yourself to a buffet spread of bread, sushi, salad, fruits, and drinks. While I enjoyed my breakfast, I missed the buffet setup.
It's uncertain whether the absence of the buffet is a post-COVID trend, or if it depends on the specific day, month, or room package. Regardless, I do wish they still offered it.
One of my top picks was the Ube Cheese Ensaymada – I've been craving Ube treats for months. The croissants were delightful as well, and I'm quite picky about my croissants.
Saul particularly enjoyed the sushi variety.
A Family Resort
The resort caters not only to couples but also to families like ours. They provide a kid-friendly environment and our little one enjoyed his day.
Crimzone for the Kiddos
The indoor and outdoor play area for children offers a fantastic way to keep the kids entertained.
My husband had a blast on the giant whale floatie. We had fun taking turns trying to stay upright on it, and guess who won? you already know, ahahaa
Memorable Experience
An unforgettable moment at the resort that I am grateful for is the clinic service. Quick medical assistance was readily available, thanks to the nurse and doctor's prompt actions. Without their swift thinking, the situation could have escalated. I am sincerely grateful to the nurse and doctor who were on duty that day; they truly saved a life.
Even though an unexpected event occurred, I am grateful that it happened in the right location. We were surrounded by the right people, and I couldn't be happier with how everything unfolded. Crimson Resort has certainly elevated its services by offering exceptional care to its guests.
