What to do in Niagara Falls

Where to go in Niagara Falls

I feel in love with Niagara Falls in an instant. The waterfalls were spectacular in every angle, and not just that there are so many things you can do too. I have here I list of the places I've been to with some road trips not too far from Niagara. Let's go!

1. Check out Niagara Falls
The number one attraction of all time. One and only, a unique border between Canada and the United States of America. The Majestic Niagara Falls at its full glory. Experience the thrill of the raging waters with a variety of activities to choose from that suits your availability. No entrance fee for falls sightseeing.

I love getting close to the waters, as it reminds me how powerful mother nature is and all its wonderful creations. Don't forget to watch out for the firework display, check the website as it changes along with the weather.

4.Stroll around Clifton Hill and Souvenir shopping

The most colorful and lively street in Niagara falls. Souvenirs is found all over Clifton hill or try to look around the street along your hotel or inn.

It's a small and unique attraction. Be amazed how the world would look like upside down.

Horror house and Mirror Maze
The most exciting place I've been to in Clifton hill. I was shouting like a madman running for its dear life. My partner was trying to keep it together as he tried to figure out the way along with my ear shattering voice in the background. It's nice to play along with the scene, get yourself scared and walk fast like there's someone after you.

It comes in a package Horror house and Mirror Maze. After a heart-stopping moment in the horror house we went straight to the Mirror Maze and groove to the music as we find our way to the exit door. The maze was a colorful house of mirrors. We happily danced to the music of Michael Jackson's "Man in the Mirror" while we looked for specific number of reflections in the mirror.

They also offer 2 more attractions like Ripley's Believe it or not and the Wax Museum.

Booth is located nearby Crystal Caves Mirror Maze

Canada's is famous and proud of it's coffee industry. Don't forget to have a coffee break in Tim hortons. You wont miss it as it's all over Canada. My favourites are: Dark Roast mix with 1/4 french vanilla and Iced coffee with one shot of sugar.

Try "Poutine" Canada's version for french fries. It goes with fries, gravy and cheese on top.

Check out Harveys, the best fast food burger I've tried in Canada.

Best lake I've been to in St. Catharines with white sand and clean waters. We brought our picnic basket, spend all day in the sun and just enjoy each others company. I enjoyed this lake more because of my friends, plus I saw one guy doing kite surfing.

Itinerary Reminders:

1. Flight Details
Make sure to write down your booking reference number, be at the airport two hours before your flight, and allocate time for your travel to the airport.

2. Accommodation Details
Write down your hotel/motel/resort/BnB booking number. Contact your place to inform them around when you'll be arriving — it really does help.  Also, ask if your accommodation has any discounted activities.  You'd be surprised!

3a. Transportation
List possible times your bus/train/boat arrives and leaves so you don't miss an activity.  Always give yourself an extra 30-45 minutes in case you get lost, get stuck in traffic, or are looking for parking.  Better early than late.  Of utmost importance: check for the last trip and fares!  So you still have time and money to get back.

3b. Car Rentals
Take note of your pick-up address and time allotted.  Our last car rental told us to bring the car back by a certain time with a certain amount of gas.  Allot money for fuel and parking.

4. Budgeting
Set aside a minimum and maximum spending amount for meals, transportation, entrance fees, activities, souvenirs, and emergencies.  3 meals a day + snacks add up quickly, so keep track!  As well as tips for restaurants and activities.

5. Activities
Call to confirm your booking(s) a day or so beforehand.  Set alarms and/or calendar reminders for things you plan to do (i.e- bungee-jumping, river-rafting, or even city/food tours).

Do you want more adventure?
If you still have one more day to spare why not go around and Explore the vibrant city of Toronto, Canada.

Where am I going next?
