Integrating Google Tag Manager (GTM) into your Blogger website can streamline the management of marketing tags, but keep in mind that I'm not a professional. This guide is based solely on my personal experience, so please proceed with caution. Let’s go!

Steps to Install Google Tag Manager on Blogger
1. Access Blogger Settings
- Begin by navigating to the settings of your Blogger blog.
- Access the Blogger Template Editor
- Go to the "Template" menu and select "Edit HTML."
2. Register with Google Tag Manager
- Ensure you've registered with Google Tag Manager and have access to your GTM container.
3. Retrieve GTM Code
- In Google Tag Manager, locate your container and take note of the GTM code snippets that you will need.
- You will receive two code snippets that must be added to your template: one for the head section and one for the body section.
4. Insert the First Code Snippet
Head Section
- Place the first code snippet after the <head> tag in your template.
Modify the Head Template Code: Replace “amp” with “&”
- This is what made it work for me! Modify one simple code in the head template, search for the “&” symbol and replace it with “amp”.
5. Insert the Second Code Snippet
Body Section
- Place the second snippet immediately after the <body> tag in your template.
6. Backup Your Template
- Always back up your Blogger template before making changes to avoid data loss.
7. Save Your Template
- After inserting and modifying the code, save your template.
8. Verification
- Once completed, your Google Tag Manager should be operational.
By following these steps, you should be able to successfully add Google Tag Manager to your Blogger site.
