I have an Amazon Storefront and I want people to stay on my website even if they click on my Amazon Store. If you're using a desktop you'll see it on the menu tabs located on the top of my website and if you're using the mobile view it will show up once you click on the three lines on the upper right corner of your phone screen. Here are two easy steps I did to make the link open to a new tab.
Normally, mine would look this: https://www.amazon.com/shop/trelovestotravel?ref_=cm_sw_r_cp_ud_aipsfshop_aipsftrelovestotravel_3Q2PX3WP7PJPDA0FHAGJ - This is my amazon storefront and “As an Amazon Associate, I earn from qualifying purchases at no added cost to you. ^_^" Here you can check out my list of travel and hiking gear that we've used and trusted.
1. Find the URL link then add this: "target=”_blank” at the end of the URL. Make sure to insert it AFTER the URL link address.
So it will look like this https://www.amazon.com/shop/trelovestotravel?ref_=cm_sw_r_cp_ud_aipsfshop_aipsftrelovestotravel_3Q2PX3WP7PJPDA0FHAGJ "target="_blank"
2. Afterwards, SAVE the URL. Make sure to double-check and click on the link if it does open in a new tab.
