How to Renew Your PRC License Online: A Guide for Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) and Non-Philippine Residents
Here are the simple steps you need to follow to renew your Professional Identification Card with the PRC online:
1. Visit the PRC Website
2. Create an Account
To begin using LERIS, log in to your existing account. If you're new to the platform, you'll have to create an account first. Once you complete the registration process, validate your account via email, and then sign in to get started.
3. Update Details
Fill out your personal information and upload your latest photo. Avoid unnecessary rejection by uploading duplicates, such as images previously uploaded for the past few years. My photo submission had a white background, and I wasn't wearing a collar.
4. Click Renewal
Select “RENEWAL OF PROFESSIONAL IDENTIFICATION CARD” to initiate the renewal process. Set your appointment, select your claiming option, and pay the necessary fees.
5. If You're Abroad
For those who are abroad, you can ask a representative who is also a PRC holder to process the renewal on your behalf. They can visit the PRC office with all the requirements needed to accomplish the renewal process.
What to Bring for the PRC ID Renewal Appointment
To avoid any issues during your PRC ID renewal appointment, make sure to bring the following documents and items:
- Photocopy of your PRC ID
- Photocopy of your driver's license for non-Philippines residents or an Employment Contract for OFW’s
- Signed application form waiver
