Finding the Perfect Dress on a Budget

As an unconventional shopper, I'm looking for a dress that's under $100. While I still want to look and feel good, I don't see the need to overspend. I've scoured various brands and online stores to find what I'm looking for, but it's been a time-consuming task, despite my frugal nature.

The Struggles of Ordering Dresses Online

Have you ever faced the challenge of ordering dresses online, only to find they do not fit you well? This was a constant problem for me, as most of the dresses I purchased were either too long or too tight in certain areas. It made me wonder if I was the only person experiencing this issue, or if there were others out there with similar struggles. Moreover, the tedious process of returning the dress and waiting for the refund to come through added to my frustration. I often found myself questioning whether the funds would eventually show up and had to backtrack to understand my financial situation. Does this sound familiar to you or am I the only one?

Discovering Azazie: The Affordable Wedding Dress Solution

While browsing for cost-effective dresses on Google, I stumbled upon Azazie. Though I was originally looking for wedding dresses because why not?!. Azazie’s stunning collection of affordable white dresses caught my attention. I only wish I had known about them when I was getting married! When I went to a shop in Toronto to try on dresses, nothing fit me well, and the tailor they recommended did a poor job with the alterations. If only I could turn back time, I would have gotten my wedding dress from Azazie and perhaps tried on bridesmaid dresses with my friend for a fun and relaxed fitting experience. We could have even sipped drinks, shared laughs, and watched a romantic comedy afterwards. Oh well...

Stunning Dresses for Weddings and Special Occasions at Azazie

After discovering Azazie's breathtaking wedding dress collection, I couldn't help but wonder if their bridesmaid dresses were just as stunning. To my delight, I was proven right! But what about dresses for wedding guests like myself? I found that Azazie has an extensive selection of special occasion dresses for every type of event.

Azazie's Try-On Service

I recently discovered that I'm part of an entourage, so I decided to treat myself to a stunning new dress. Azazie caught my eye because of their try-on before-you-buy feature. For a mere $20, I was able to select three dresses to try on at home. Not too shabby, right? My strategy was to choose the best-fitting dress and hopefully score a discount, as you receive 10% off if you keep one of the try-on dresses. Who doesn't love savings?

My plans didn't go as expected when none of the three dresses I ordered fit me. However, I've learned to be resilient from my travels and not fear change, as it often leads to blessings in disguise.

My Dress Fit: Size, Comfort and Mobility

For dress sizes, I typically wear US 4 and UK 8, with a slim figure. However, after giving birth, I now have a little mummy pouch in the front and back. My height ranges from 5'3" to 5'4", depending on my daily yoga routine. For me, comfort is key, especially since I have a toddler to chase after. Additionally, I like to dress in a manner that allows me to move freely, even if it means running after a pickpocket if necessary.

Kelia Dress

I ordered a Kelia dress in A2 Taupe which fits perfectly in the front, but I'm unable to zip up the back. Even with shapewear, I still cannot get it to fit. It's clear that I am not an A2.

The Davis collection in Cedar Rose and Champagne hues has captured my heart.

The Cedar Rose color of the Davis, A2 is beautiful, but it's closer to pink than I expected, and unfortunately, it doesn't suit my cousin's wedding theme.

My Top Pick: The Dress That Almost Fits Perfectly

After trying on several dresses, I finally found my winner – the Davis in Champagne. The dress fits almost perfectly, with the front being great. However, it's a little too tight in the back. If I end up laughing like crazy during the wedding, I run the risk of popping out some imaginary buttons, although this dress doesn't actually have any. I also appreciate the color, as it's versatile enough to wear on other occasions. I always love finding multi-functional pieces, why use something just once when you can get more use out of it?

The Perks of Azazie: Custom Sizing

One of the standout features of Azazie is its custom sizing option. After trying on several dresses, I now have a better understanding of how I want my dress to fit. The best part? Custom sizing is free of charge! This makes selecting a dress much simpler, now that I know my ideal fit.

Ordering Custom Size Dresses:

On December 13th, I placed an order with
Azazie for a custom-sized dress and I’m happy to pay for it at a reasonable price of under 100 USD, which included taxes and shipping. Although the dress fit well, minor adjustments were needed on the back. I received a confirmation stating that the dress was shipped on December 26th, and I received my package on Dec 30th. The wedding I’m attending is set for January 18th, so I ordered my dress with just enough time. Keep in mind, that orders like this may take some time, so once you have your sizing figured out, it's best to order promptly.

Track your package with USPS.
