Where to Find Less Crowded Cherry Blossoms in Seattle?

Discover Seattle's Hidden Cherry Blossom Spots: Enjoy the Blooms Without the Crowds

We recently visited Seattle's cherry blossoms. They're very popular now, but we wanted to avoid crowded areas, so we went to a quieter neighborhood. Remember to be polite, park properly, don’t block any paths, and respect the area. Also, try not to stay too long. Let’s go!

Where can you find less crowded cherry blossoms in Seattle?

We visited 37th Ave SW, Seattle, WA 98126, which is my favorite spot. The cherry trees were beautiful! There are also cherry blossom trees lining 38th between Juneau and Raymond.

For other, less crowded places to see cherry blossoms, there are many hidden spots to enjoy. You don’t have to follow the crowd; find your own secret spot. Check the urbanist for a great list of places to visit.

When Do Cherry Blossoms Bloom in Seattle?

Typically, the peak bloom occurs from late March to early April. We visited on March 29, and despite the rain, the trees were still stunning.

Spring is Here!

There’s something about these trees that brings joy and makes people smile. Maybe it's because they're pink, a color linked to energy and good vibes. Pink also feels romantic and peaceful, making everything calm. The gentle colors are easy on the eyes and give Seattle's spring a warm and cheerful feeling.

Did you know?

Did you know there's a troll in West Seattle? Just ten minutes from the cherry blossoms, you can find Bruu Udin in Lincoln Park. If you're up for more, it's a 30-minute drive from there to the Nordic Museum, where Frankie Feeflinter is at the entrance, and another 30 minutes to see Jacob Two Trees from Issaquah. If you're still up for more, take a ferry to Bainbridge Island to see Pia the Peacemaker and meet His Majesty Oscar the Bird King on Vashon Island. Take your time, and try not to find them all in one day. Hunting down all 5 trolls in Seattle is a fun and unique activity for everyone!

I’ll be updating this post shortly with pictures, but I want to share the experience in the meantime. I hope you get to see the cherry blossoms in Seattle just in time!

Have fun and be safe ^__^
